The sensory nerve conduction study is normal. Motor nerve conduction again shows low CMAP amplitude of the right ulnar nerve, but not significantly different from the previous study done 12 years before. Needle study shows mainly chronic denervation. Note the presence of large neurogenic units and lack of presence of fibrillations or positive waves in most of the muscles tested (except for left triceps). What is the next step? diagnosis ?
